BOP Impact Ventures is a multidisciplinary (management buyout & venture) fund focused on investing in companies with a strong focus on innovation and impact; supporting the transition of society towards a more sustainable and socially responsible environment by challenging the status quo.

While we remain sector agnostic, our portfolio companies mainly operate in the broader definition of the technology and life science industry. We believe in realizing impact through technology and have an active network of experts to support us in the various niches.

BOP was founded in 2016 by Wim Boers together with Jeroen Mensen and Jurrian Lucas. To date we have invested in over 15 portfolio companies and realized a number of successful exits.

We focus on partnering with entrepreneurial management teams of portfolio companies that can shape the future. Investing in technology provides a lever to generate long-term impact. We believe in profit through impact which over time should result in the design of better products.

As the lead investor, we have a hands-on approach to build long-term value alongside the management team. We support our portfolio companies with a wide range of disciplines such as structuring, legal, corporate finance, business planning, budgeting, strategy, execution of growth initiatives, M&A and allow full access of our network of (sector) specialists.
